Cork and Kerry Food Forum 2016
We had the pleasure of having a stall at this years Cork and Kerry Food Forum in Cork City Hall. This event took place on Sunday the 26th and Monday the 27th of June and was the largest Artisan Food Market in the Region – heaven for foodies like us in Oh! Naturelle. The Cork and Kerry region is renowned nationally and internationally for its high quality food produce. The Cork & Kerry Food Forum is a showcase of over 75 local food producers and offers the public a showcase of artisan produce from all over Cork and Kerry.
This was a great event for us to be at as we were able to trial a few NEW flavours we’ve had up our sleeves. We had two special limited edition flavours as well as our Raspberry and Rose & Grape Chai Tea and Mint Sorbets. Our new flavours were…drum roll please..
Coconilla – A dairy free Ice Cream made with Coconut Milk and Vanilla
CocoCacao – A dairy free Ice Cream also made with Coconut Milk and we’ve added some Cacao Powder, sourced from one of our Food Academy friends ‘Wilkies’ who are based in Midleton, Cork. You got to check them out too, they make lovely organic chocolate treats. You can find more details on their Facebook Page Wilkie’s Chocolate
Both of these new Ice Creams tasted absolutely amazing, and judging by how fast we sold out of both flavours, everyone at the Cork and Kerry Food Forum loved them too!! We got great feedback to all of our products on offer from everyone there so we were over the moon.
It was brilliant to catch up with other local food producers and we got to try out some amazing food. It was also great to meet The Happy Pear lads, Dave and Stephen O’Flynn. Aisling joined them on stage at their cooking demonstration and told everyone all about Oh! Naturelle – click here to see Aisling with the Happy Pear lads
